Tom Daley and Andrea Spendrini Siriex won gold for Great Britain in the 10m mixed synchro diving with a score of 76.80.
Great Britain won the gold and silver medals on the first day of the World Aquatics Championships.
Tom Daley, Andrea Spendrini-Siriex, Daniel Goodfellow and Scarlett Mew Jensen won Doha's first gold medal in the mixed team event, scoring 421.65 points.
Grace Reid won silver in the women's 1 meter springboard final.
The 27-year-old Reed was sixth, but he scored 58.50 points on his final dive, pushing him into the medal range with an overall score of 257.25.
Alisha Koloy of Australia won the gold medal and Maha Amer became Egypt's first diving medal at the world championships.
“It feels a little surreal at the moment, but I'm honestly happy,” said Reid, who won silver in the mixed 3m synchro with Daley in 2017.
In the mixed team event, Daly, Spendrini-Silliex, Goodfellow and Miu Jensen combined for six dives to top the leaderboard.
Mexico won silver and the Australian quartet won bronze.
Daly, who is competing in an international competition for the first time in more than two years, said the current strength of the British diving world was “absolutely incredible”.
“It was very scary,” Daly said. “But it feels good to get back out there and compete again.
“It was really great to be able to do that with this team. I never expected to win gold, but it's a great start to the competition.”
Each team was required to perform a 3-meter synchro dive and a 10-meter synchro dive, in addition to one individual dive for each team member.
Randall Willers-Valdez gave Mexico the lead with a score of 98.40 in the 10m platform dive, before Daly and Spendrini-Siriex sealed the gold medal for Britain with the highest-scoring 10m synchronized dive. Ta.
“It's always an honor to dive with them,” said 19-year-old Spendrini Siriex.
“I have looked up to Tom throughout my diving career, so to be able to dive with him is truly incredible.
“He's already helped me a lot because I've learned a lot even from training. It's been really fun. I love them and they're my family.”
The World Aquatics Championships will be held from February 2nd to 18th.
