To celebrate World Health Day 2024, the World Health Organization Southeast Asia Regional Office is organizing an art competition themed '.my health, my rights. ”
We invite people of all ages to share through their work how they view health as a human right and what it means to them personally.
What does the right to health mean to you? Availability / Accessibility / Acceptability / Quality? What does a human rights-based approach to health look like?’ Equality/non-discrimination. What about participation and accountability?
Pick up your pen, your pencil, your digital tools and write, regardless of your race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth, or other status. Shining a spotlight on what rights everyone has. Towards the highest attainable standard of health.

- Category 1 – Draw and paint using oils/posters/acrylics/crayons/colored pencils on paper/canvas.
- Category 2 – Digital Art (JPG format).
Entries will be judged in three age groups:
- Age group A – up to 12 years;
- Age Group B – 13 to 18 years;
- Age Group C – 19+.

- This competition is open to residents of member countries of the WHO South-East Asia Region.
- Artwork must be original and related to the theme.
- Entrants must be individuals and may submit multiple entries in each category.
- Winners are selected by a panel of experts.
- The top three entries in each category and age group will receive exciting prizes.
- The winners will be announced during the World Health Day celebrations.
- The deadline for submission is Until 5pm on March 20th (Indian Standard Time).

- How to submit your work – If you are submitting a painting in Category 1 (Oil Painting/Poster/Acrylic/Crayon/Colored Pencil), please take a photo and send it via email. Category 2 – If you are submitting digital art, please share it in JPG format.
- When submitting your work, please state your application category, age group, and name in the subject line of your email.
- Please include your name, age, address, and contact information in your email.
- Please submit one artwork per email.
- Entries must not contain copyrighted material.
- WHO reserves the right to use artwork submitted as part of its health advocacy efforts in any manner whatsoever without obtaining further permission from the applicant.
- There is no charge for submitted works.
