United in song: Keabetswe Motsiranyane and Bok fans move the nation by singing the national anthem during the Springbok v Ireland match.
Singer and 7 Deraan Actress Keabetswe (KB) Motsilanyane gave a powerful tribute to the long-awaited return of the World Cup winning Springboks, singing the national anthem ahead of their match against Ireland at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday.
Also appearing in the sold-out stadium ahead of the Springboks' historic 27-20 victory were South Africa's award-winning woolshearers, the country's beekeeping team, world-renowned Ndebele artist Dr Ester Mahlangu and UFC Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis.

As they took to the field, a giant banner was unfurled bearing Dorricas' famous words, “Hulle Weet Nie Wat Ons Weet Nie” (“They don't know what we know”), to the delight of the Loftus crowd.
During the final verse of the national anthem, KB opened his arms, handed the microphone to the stadium and asked everyone to sing along.
Springbok fans gathered at Loftus shouting their national pride as they sang:
“The call to unite resounds,
And we will stand united,
Live and strive for freedom.
South Africa is our land.”

SA responds
Emotions ran high in the crowd after the national anthem, and KB was praised for leaving the final section to the crowd.
Former Springbok winger Breyton Paulus wrote: “I love our national anthem. It always moves me. We've come a long way, Mzanzi. Let's embrace it!”
