South African musician Prince Kaybee (real name Kabelo Motsamai) remains under fire for being an All Blacks supporter. Last year, his fellow South Africans accused him of a lack of loyalty to his country, including cheering on opposing teams during the Rugby World Cup.
This year, his decision to support the New Zealand team made headlines again, with thousands of locals discussing Bafana Bafana's chances of defeating Nigeria in next week's Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) match.

Prince Kaybee still under fire for supporting All Blacks
Last October, many South Africans celebrated the Springboks after they won the Rugby World Cup again.
Naturally, not everyone was celebrating.
One of those who expressed disappointment at this said: Fetch Your Life Hitmaker Prince Kaybee headed to the X to send a message to his favorite team, the All Blacks.

The tweet angered some locals over his lack of “patriotism.” Some threatened to delete his music from their devices.
“I deleted everything. I don't support people who choose strangers over themselves. Charity starts at home,” one person said.

Many still seem annoyed with the star, which was made clear by his tweets about Bafana Bafana and the Afcon tournament.
Speaking to X, he said he believes next week's match against Nigeria will be tough.
“No, Nigeria is going to be a tough fight,” he tweeted.
In reply, one X user reminded him that he once chose another country over his own.
“I was rooting for New Zealand during the World Rugby Cup wena, so I decided to stop this time,” the young woman wrote.
