Manager Mauricio Pochettino apologized to supporters after Chelsea lost 4-2 at home to Wolves, saying it was “not in keeping with the history of the club”.

The 51-year-old Argentine was appointed in July following a season in which he finished 12th under caretaker manager Frank Lampard, following the early-season sackings of Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel. He was appointed manager of Chelsea.
