Springbok captain Siya Kolisi and his son Nicolas had a blast over the weekend, from watching the London derby to rubbing shoulders with former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson ahead of his Ajax debut.
Without a doubt, “we recognize that the real thing is the real thing.” Social media was abuzz after Kolisi shared a photo of himself with Henderson ahead of his Ajax debut. Henderson has been in the spotlight since moving to Ajax from the Saudi Professional League.

Siya Kolisi shared a photo with Henderson ahead of his debut at the Johan Cruyff Arena Stadium in Amsterdam. Kolisi wrote on his Instagram Story: “Nice to meet you, little brother. Congratulations on your first match.”
Jordan Henderson thanked Siya Kolisi for coming to his debut match. “Thank you for coming! Nice to meet you, brother @siyakolisi,” Henderson wrote.

The currently viral photo has garnered thousands of comments and reactions since it was published on the internet. Fans were impressed by their friendship over the years.
Since Henderson was still at Liverpool, the pair have often celebrated victories together and congratulated each other on social media.

Precious moments at the Johan Cruyff Arena
But the special moment of the day came when Nicholas accompanied former Liverpool star Jordan Henderson on the field. The former Liverpool captain emerged from the tunnel with Nicolas in front of thousands of fans at Amsterdam's Johan Cruyff Arena Stadium.
Ajax played against PSV. Over the years, several celebrities have let their children come out of the tunnel with their favorite players, but it looks like Kolisi wasn't immune to the global trend either. Celebrities like DJ Khaled have done this gesture before.
