Was this the worst advertisement ever in South Africa?
Advertising can be hit or miss for media companies, sometimes missing their target market entirely. We all have memories of looking at Dulux dogs and laughing out loud at Chicken His Ricken or Nando's.
However, the ad was not well received by local residents and the South African Advertising Bureau.

An ad for Windhoek Lager featuring actor Gerard Butler was not well received by both viewers and advertisers.

The ad started receiving complaints soon after it aired.
