Black Coffee has broken his silence since his plane crash a month ago, telling fans he will be back on deck soon.
Using the hashtag “God Himself,” the South African DJ released a statement via social media on Friday, providing an update on his recovery.
“Thank you for respecting my privacy during this intimate and enlightening moment in my life.

“I have spent this time recovering and taking some much-needed time off while healing with my family at home,” he said in a short statement.
The statement came shortly after the Grammy-winning producer made his first public appearance Thursday night at this year's State of the Union Address (Sona), where he was seen wearing a neck brace.

The DJ was on his way to a club performance in the Argentine resort city of Mar del Plata when the incident occurred.
“As a result, an unexpected complication occurred and he sustained an injury,” the statement said. Black Coffee management confirmed that he is “receiving the best possible care and is surrounded by a supportive family and team.”

This accident led to the cancellation of the famous DJ's shows, one of which was at the Argentinian nightclub Mute Club.
The club issued a statement informing patrons that black coffee had been discontinued.
“Dear Argentinian fans, Black Coffee regrets to inform you that there was severe turbulence on our private direct flight from Florianopolis. [in Brazil] He had to make an emergency landing at Montevideo airport to fly to Mar del Plata tonight. [in Uruguay]” said a statement from the nightclub.
