South African commercial airline Semeru will launch a new service on another domestic route.
This time, the airline will add flights to the coastal city of East London.
Semer will introduce regular flights between Johannesburg and East London in the first week of April.

Semer expansion
The independently owned airline will begin operating between Johannesburg and East London on April 7.
This airline is in an expansion phase. The company's route network has expanded significantly in the years following the Covid-19 pandemic.

east london route
Semeru will operate between East London and Johannesburg from April 8th. Flights are offered 5 times a week.
Direct flights from East London to Johannesburg will operate every weekday morning, according to the airline's website.
Flights between Johannesburg and East London operate on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

cross-border flight
Cemer also recently announced the launch of regular flights between Johannesburg and Harare, Zimbabwe.
From March 21, it will operate regular flights between Johannesburg and Harare. The new route will operate four times a week.
The airline currently flies to Maun & Kasane (Botswana), Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and Maputo (Mozambique).
Flights to Luanda (Angola), Livingstone (Zambia) and Gaborone (Botswana) are in the airline's pipeline.
