The estate of late singer Donna Summer has accused rapper Kanye West of copyright infringement.

Donna Summer estate accuses Kanye West of copyright infringement
In a post shared to Donna Summer's official Instagram on Saturday, February 10th, it was written: Dropped out of university Rapper asked for permission to use Donna Summer's famous song, feel the lovebut was rejected.
“Kanye West…asked for permission to use Donna Summer's song 'I Feel Love.' [but] He was rejected,” a statement on Summer's official Instagram Story read.
The statement continued: “He may have changed the lyrics, had someone else sing it, or used AI, but it's 'I Feel Love.'
It ended with the words “Copyright infringement!!!”
Donna's estate tagged the official accounts of Kanye West, rapper Ty Dolla $ign, Warner Chappell Music, Universal Music Group, and Sharon Osbourne in her post.
Since her death from lung cancer in 2012, Donna Summer's estate has been in charge of her contributions to the music industry.

“I don't want anything to do with this man!”
Hours earlier, Sharon Osbourne and her husband Ozzy Osbourne filed a similar complaint, accusing Kanye of copyright infringement.
“Kanye West asked for permission to sample part of his live performance of 'War Pig' at the 1983 US Festival without vocals,” Ozzy revealed to X.
The rock artist continued: ” [it] He was denied permission on the grounds that he was an anti-Semite and caused untold heartache to many. He used that sample anyway at last night's album listening party. I don't want anything to do with this man! ”Ozzy said.
Sharon also spoke out about Kanye calling him an “anti-Semitic idiot.”
“The Osbourne family never wanted anything to do with Kanye West. He's an anti-Semitic idiot who spews his rhetoric out into the world, Kanye, you fucked with the wrong guy this time. Sincerely, Sharon Osbourne,” Sharon said.
Kanye and Ty Dolla Signs have released their long-awaited new album titled: vulture, Friday, February 9th. Neither rapper has yet commented on the public complaints.
