Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema wants South African Football Association (Safa) president Danny Jordaan to resign.

Speaking at OR Tambo International Airport, Malema said the Bafana players lost with dignity and their courage and dedication should be commended.
He said President Safa was not a good leader.

“The fact still remains that Danny (Jordaan) has to leave, but for now we want to celebrate Bafana and we don't want politics to spoil our celebrations,” Malema said, according to the Citizen newspaper. ” he said.
Malema touched on the fact that Jordaan refused to reveal the amount of prize money the players would receive.
