American singer Jennifer Lopez has confessed that she had no intention of getting back together with actor Ben Affleck.

After her engagement to Ben Affleck failed in 2004, Jennifer Lopez said getting back together with her then-ex-fiancé was never in her plans.
During an appearance on Australia's “Kyle & Jackie O Radio Show” on Thursday, February 15, the singer said he needed to “understand himself” after ending a relationship in the early 2000s. .
“I fell in love with the love of my life” [earlier in life] And for some reason we needed to grow up and do other things,” Jennifer explained candidly.
Lopez continued, “We both broke up and had kids with other people and other parties, and in my mind I was like, 'Oh, that's what happened.' ” he continued.

Jennifer and Ben began dating in 2002 and got engaged later that year. The couple broke up in 2004, a year after postponing their wedding in 2003.
In the same year, Jennifer married Marc Anthony. The couple welcomed twins Max and Emme in 2008, but Assony and Lopez separated in 2014.
Meanwhile, Ben married Jennifer Garner in 2008, but they broke up in 2018. The former couple have two daughters, Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15.
Lopez and Affleck then reunited in 2021 and married in 2022.
“I was like, 'I'm okay on my own, I'm okay, I love my life.' And when I got to that place, the universe opened up to me and said, 'OK, I'm ready. I think it was like, 'Okay, I've done it,'” Jennifer said.
