Springbok winger Makazole Mapimpi scored an impressive number of tries at last year's Rugby World Cup before being forced out due to injury.
Mapimpi made his 39th appearance on the wing for the Springboks in the Test against Romania, moving him level with Peter Rossouw on the all-time list and moving up his place on the list of try-scorers.
He scored three tries in his first appearance at the 2023 Rugby World Cup and won the Man of the Match award.

Mapimpi became the Springbok's fifth-most starter as a winger against Tonga.
He currently has 26 tries for the Springboks, which ranks him fifth on South Africa's all-time list. Mapimpi has the highest strike rate of any other player in the top 10.
