SA Rugby announced on Monday that coach Rassie Erasmus will assemble a group of 43 players for a two-day conditioning camp on March 5th and 6th.
The group consists of 39 domestic (locally based) players and four Japan-based players who are currently injured and undergoing rehabilitation in South Africa. There were 19 members of the 2023 Rugby World Cup winning team.
More importantly, only 27 Springbok players have caps, of which a whopping 16 are uncapped.
