flight to israel
Since the Hamas attack on October 7 last year, many airlines have suspended flights to Israel. The reason is the lack of safety when flying in this area.
However, Israeli airlines El Al, Israel Airlines and Arkia Airlines continued to operate during this period, when most airlines suspended flights to the state. These operations are important as air links with Israel have shrunk since hostilities began late last year.
The airline will cease operations in South Africa. Flights to Johannesburg will be suspended in March.
