Liz Truss said the world “needs a Republican back in the White House,” adding, “We've been watching Joe Biden fall asleep at the wheel.”
In his speech near Washington, D.C., the former prime minister did not mention former President Donald Trump, the leading candidate for the Republican nomination.
As told to GB News, Mr. Truss He also said Biden “needs to be removed” from the White House.

Truss was speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), an annual conference aligned with the American political right.
Trump's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, was among those who spoke before Truss, and the former president is scheduled to speak at Saturday's rally.
This year, the event was held in National Harbor, Maryland, just outside Washington, DC.
“Of course we need a Republican back in the White House,” Truss said of the presidency.
“It's not just America that desperately needs it. We desperately need it throughout the free world, because whether you like it or not, you are the leaders of the free world.” .”
He said Republicans are also needed in the House and Senate.
But these Republicans “need” to be ready to fight and “not give in to the establishment.”
Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson told The Sun that there was “little doubt” that “the world felt safer, calmer and more stable” during Mr Trump's presidency. .
“Right now, many people around the world yearn for stability through strong and decisive American leadership,” he added.
“Many well-meaning people are shaking like a beaten blancmange at the idea of a new Trump presidency. I don't understand why they're so alarmed.”
In his speech, Mr Truss complained about how his attempts to rule Britain had been thwarted by the “left”, backed by Iran, Russia and China.
She also claimed that Western countries have been run by the left “for far too long.” The Conservative Party has been in power in one form or another in the UK since 2010.
But Mr Truss claimed the left had “unaccepted” the loss of the election and had “weaponized” institutions such as the justice system.
He also attacked the Office for Budget Responsibility, the Bank of England, the International Monetary Fund and Mr Biden for attacking his economic plans that threaten to collapse Britain's pensions market.
The former prime minister got laughs as he joked about how insulting it was to have his economics insulted by the founder of Bidenomics.

At one point, Truss said the attempt to cause confusion failed, but not because it went too far.
Instead, he said the Conservatives “need a bigger bazooka” to deliver their policies.
