Former Springbok flyhalf Derrick Hougaard has been living with diamond dealer Louis Liebenberg for two weeks.
Derrick Hougaard, one of South Africa's most beloved rugby legends, has found himself in trouble again after moving into his Bronkhorstbaai home with diamond dealer Louis Liebenberg.
rapport Reports on Sunday said the former Springbok rugby player had begged for someone to remove him from Liebenberg's home. The paper said that in a WhatsApp message, Fugard told her that being there was bad for her and that she just wanted to get back to herself.
Mr Hougaard reportedly lived with Mr Liebenberg for two weeks and the diamond dealer said he had to hire a bodyguard to protect the former rugby star from himself.
Regarding Derrick's plea for help, Liebenberg said: [Derick] You're not tied down, you're not tied down, you can walk wherever you want. He added that Fugard has nothing left and has to start over, and he is giving them the opportunity to do so.
Mr. Liebenberg also said that if we are not monitored, we will be “picking up a dead Fugard.” Liebenberg said Derrick is always looking for ways to kick his pill addiction.

The former Bulls rugby player made headlines last year after he was rushed to hospital after his ex-girlfriend, Afrikaans pop singer Nadine, found him unconscious at home. He was placed in a medically induced coma for 13 days. Doctors told him his chances of survival were 50-50.
