American actress Anne Hathaway paid homage to the 2006 comedy The Devil Wears Prada at the 2024 SAG Awards. To commemorate her fashion film, Anne wore her blue “cerulean” dress on Saturday, February 24th.

The “Princess Diaries” star attended the SAG Awards ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, looking absolutely gorgeous. She wore an off-the-shoulder Atelier Versace floor-length gown.
The dress featured a small waist cutout and a large rectangular metal buckle. Anne completed her look with silver heels and a silver clutch.
The actress also wore a beautiful diamond necklace and earrings by fashion house Bvlgari.
During an interview with hollywood reporterAnne Hathaway admitted that her look was a node to the iconic style lecture given by Meryl Streep's character (Miranda Priestly) in the fashion film.
“This look was created based on down-to-earth reality. I was literally stepping out of a plane and onto a carpet, so I needed something that was visually impactful yet gentle on the body.” , we asked for very specific colors because we thought about who we would be presenting to,” Anne said.
In The Devil Wears Prada, Anne's character Andrea Sachs laughed when Miranda Priestly's assistant said that two similar-colored belts were “so different.”
That's when Priestley, played by Meryl Streep, gives Andy an epic speech about different shades of blue, including cerulean and turquoise.
