Disgraced former Springbok Elton Jantjies has vowed to make a 'comeback' despite serving a harsh four-year ban, effectively ending his professional rugby career.
The notorious flyhalf hit the headlines earlier this month after the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) confirmed his suspension for failing a drug test last year.
In recent months, the 33-year-old has not been selected in the Springbok squad for a series of test matches. He was also reportedly fired from Agen and the Red Hurricanes due to several scandals.

Elton Jantjies promises comeback
Elton Jantjies last played professional rugby a year ago but believes he can return.
Over the weekend, Jantjies posted on her Instagram Story: “Everyone thinks I'm losing. But I'm silently preparing for my comeback story.”

Elton Jantjies has vowed to “come back” despite public scandals including an alleged affair with Springbok nutritionist Zeenat Simsey, an alleged stint in a rehabilitation center and allegations of abuse of girlfriend Ashley Ogle.
He's even been offered a “tell all” session with R650 fans for a one-on-one session.
Last month, it was reported that Elton's prospects of playing professionally collapsed after SAIDS confirmed that he had not exercised his right to appeal a failed drug test. Planet Rugby.
