Following the success of last year's event, Auto & General once again held an exciting cross triathlon in the picturesque Stein City on Saturday 24th February.
The event began with a 600m swim in the pristine waters of Steyn City Lagoon, setting the stage for a challenging 30km bike ride through the exhilarating trails on site.
The athletes then demonstrated their endurance in a final push, running 7km along a safe walkway around the grounds.
This year's event saw the participation of 800 brave athletes, including celebrities such as Thando Thabete.

Reflecting on his experience, the 947 presenter said he had so much fun doing it that he was looking forward to doing it again next year.
He added: “I woke up this morning and my legs were like jelly.” [Saturday], I couldn't have expected to have such a good day yesterday. This race is really special. I can't wait to come back next year! ”

According to Auto & General, the cross triathlon was first launched two years ago with the aim of making the sport of triathlon more accessible to athletes in Gauteng who typically have to travel long distances to participate. It was launched.
