The Chief Justice has named another suspect in the murder of AKA, who was shot dead along with his friend and business partner Thebelo “Tibs” Motsoane outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. said he would be arrested.

When did the arrest take place?
Mkhwanazi said the first suspect was arrested on April 22, 2023, around the same time the media reported the news. The suspect allegedly hired a vehicle and a gun.
A second arrest was made on October 24, 2023. The suspected killer is believed to be one of the witnesses.
The third suspect, one of the gunmen, was arrested on December 14, 2023.
On Saturday, February 24, 2024, two suspects (believed to be brothers) were arrested at a hideout in Mbabane, Eswatini. One of the brothers was identified as a witness and the other as the shooter. The two men are also believed to be involved in other murders in Berea.
The sixth suspect was arrested on February 27, 2024. He is said to be the coordinator who gathered all the suspects and paid them a reward. He had fled to Eswatini with two other suspects, but fled when police swooped on him. Police said the man later turned himself in.
