DJ Maphorisa has opened doors for many young artists in the music industry, but he has suffered further at the hands of trolls, being called gatekeepers and exploiters.
Despite being accused of exploiting other artists, this music producer continues to open up the industry to other artists.
The DJ shared a video on social media of him presenting a plaque to Mas Musik at his new home, proving his good deed.
Maphorisa made the statement in a video clip, sparking controversy on social media.
“This is what I'm doing! Let me say a little more.Congratulations @mas_musiq About purchasing a new home and plaque! So proud of you, my son,” he wrote.
Zynga used the video to remind trolls who hate DJ Maphorisa.
“Are you trying to paint this guy as the bad guy? Good luck convincing all the lives he's changed forever,” the rapper wrote.

Another Twitter user disagreed with Zynga, arguing that Maphorisa cannot easily take advantage of the producer because Mas is a smart person.
“If you're smart enough, there's one thing you have to understand: Polly doesn't stop everything. That's why the trout were able to get around, it was just Polly there, Wangakwazi Ukumulova, Because that kid is smart,” Tweep wrote.
However, Zynga continues to stand by its claim that DJ Maphorisa created Mas Musiq.
