Hannah Green surpassed the $4.5 million lifetime earnings threshold with her win at the HSBC Women's World Championship. The Australian earned $270,000 for his fourth career win in Singapore. The newlyweds earned $275,456 in two events this season.
“Conditions were a little softer today compared to the past few days, so I knew I had to go low today to win,” said the 67-pointer on Sunday to move within one stroke of Celine Boutier. Green said.
“I was on the phone with my coach last night and he was like, yeah, just try to get as many birdies as possible early on. I like to make things a little bit more interesting. , the last three were birdies.”
Green becomes the fifth Australian to win at least four races, joining Carrie Webb, Jan Stephenson, Minjee Lee and Rachel Hetherington.
World No. 1 Lilia Vu and Alexa Pano withdrew from the final round due to illness. Both uncut events also earned him $4,322.
