ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba celebrated his 40th wedding anniversary over the weekend and spoke glowingly about his wife.

In another interview, Mashaba credited his success to his wife. “You also need stability in your life,” he said. “One of my most important decisions in life was getting married 30 years ago to have some stability in my life, because I knew that if I didn't have personal security in life, I wouldn't get very far. is.”

The couple married in 1982, and the entrepreneur once again paid tribute to her on social media on their anniversary.

Upon taking office as mayor of Johannesburg, Mashaba became the first non-ANC mayor since 1994.
When Mashaba decided to switch from entrepreneurship to political activity in 2016, Mashaba said Kony would protect the family's business interests.
However, Mashaba has not been active in the hair care business since 2005, when he became a 50% shareholder, with the remaining shares held by Pretoria-based cosmetics company Amka Products. According to Connie's LinkedIn profile, she has been her manager at Amka Products for nearly 19 years.
Connie is currently President of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). Mr Mashaba continues to serve as executive chairman of Refatsi Investments, a broad-based black economy support company that invests in financial services, mining, construction, transport and logistics.
