After the 2023 World Cup, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi joined French club Racing 92 and quickly became a very popular team member at the club.
Unfortunately, he injured his hand and wrote on Instagram: I'll be back soon! ”
The fact that he will be back sooner rather than later is good news for the Springboks, who begin the international season in June.
Springbok captain Siya Kolisi should recover in time for 2024 matches:
Saturday 22nd June: SA v Wales (Twickenham, London)
Saturday 6th July: SA v Ireland (Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria)
Saturday 13 July: SA v Ireland (Hollywoodbets Kings Park, Durban)
Saturday, July 20: SA vs. Portugal (Bloemfontein, Toyota Stadium)
Saturday 10th August: Australia vs SA (Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane)

Major impact
Racing coach Stuart Lancaster recently said he was pleased with the way Kolisi was settling in at the club.
“I'm really happy with how Siya is integrating into the club. He really brings a lot of energy to the team. I think he's getting better little by little.
“He's improved a lot and it's great to be rewarded with a try,” Lancaster added after the French side's 48-26 victory over Cardiff in the Champions Cup.
