Toka plays the character of Kaya in 'Yongins'.
Actor Thoka Mutabane recently opened up about his role in the Showmax original teen drama series. Yongin.
Touka plays a character named Kaya, who is handsome, popular, and good at sports, but struggles with academic performance.
The 22-year-old actor said he was similar to Kaya in high school, but unlike Kaya, he had an academic bent.
“Kaya isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but what I like about him is that he follows his instincts. He's an impulsive guy. Kaya has thrown herself into the deep end. And he just swam away…
“I was like Kaya in high school, popular with everyone and talented at soccer and art. The only difference was that I was actually a smart kid. I got good grades. “Other than that, we are very similar in many ways,” he said.

Regarding compatibility with Kea

He revealed that they met before filming and discussed and mutual understanding to improve their performance.
“Careboga and I are very good friends. We met at a chemistry exam, and I think we became even better friends after we talked about general things in between auditions.''
“So when we finally started working together, Yongin, our chemistry just flowed. I think it's also because we talked about a few things in terms of how far to push it. It was done almost effortlessly.
