Hong Kong, March 7, 2024 – Today, at Lenovo's inaugural TechWorld Hong Kong event, Lenovo brought together international technology leaders and innovators to demonstrate the company's deep commitment to driving AI transformation across industries in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA). At the event, Lenovo shared the results of a survey of CIOs of Hong Kong companies.[i] Based on a global survey of international leaders focused on the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI). As global interest in AI peaks, the survey results show how important it is to businesses in Hong Kong.
95% of Hong Kong CIOs surveyed said their AI budget requirements were met or exceeded, and 44% of them said they had more budget than they needed. . However, the study also revealed that Hong Kong faces several challenges if it seeks to make the most of AI.
