However, several incidents were caught on camera after the final whistle. After the final whistle, Kaizer Chiefs captain Brandon Pietersen shouted at coach Cabin Johnson.
Petersen announced after the final whistle that he was not happy. However, in the post-match interview Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson addressed the incident and said it was “normal chit chat”.
He told the media, “I just had a normal chat with the coach. We lost the game. What do we have to fight for?” [Yes] That's normal. Did you see Kevin De Bruyne tell Pep Guardiola to shut up? That's normal. He wants his players to react when they lose,” Johnson said.
The Kaizer Chiefs coach added: And if they react to me, I take it all on my shoulders. Because whatever the reaction is, I'll fix it tomorrow. That's soccer. I don't want them to become rats. They should be the ones who come to ask you questions. ”
