In her first statement since her surgery, the Princess of Wales briefly thanked the public for their support and wished all mothers in the UK a happy Mother's Day as they celebrate Mother's Day on March 10th.
“Thank you for all your warm wishes and support over the past two months,” she wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of her with her three children. “Wishing you all a Happy Mother's Day,” she concluded her post.
Middleton, 42, was hospitalized for two weeks after undergoing abdominal surgery in January.
The Princess of Wales is expected to return to royal duties only after Easter.
Middleton was admitted to the same clinic where her father-in-law, King Charles, was also treated.
King Charles was reportedly “very concerned” about the Princess of Wales after abdominal surgery.
