Last month, Konka announced it would close in May. The nightclub, widely known as a playground for the rich and famous, has revealed it won't be shut down for much longer.
“With bittersweet hearts, we say goodbye to Soweto. Join us for the Season Finale at Konka Soweto from February 18 to May 2024. This is not a farewell. Rather, it marks the beginning of something special. “Conca plans to open its new home in the summer of 2024,” the club said in a statement.
Several celebrities came to the club on Sunday. And a number of popular South African artists also brought their A-game to the event.
The lavish event was attended by Babalwe Muneno, rapper KO, podcast host DJ Fresh, disc jockey Kabza de Small, Black Coffee and more.
Rapper Nadia Nakai and fitness influencer Sbahle Mpisane also appeared at the party and looked like they had a blast. The pair took to their Instagram Stories to show off how much fun they had as they twerked, socialized and sang together to some of South Africa's best songs.

Nadia Nakai appears to be back to her life before grieving her late rapper boyfriend, aka Keenan Jarryd Forbes. Sbahle Mpisane is also continuing her healing journey following her recent breast implant surgery.
Mpisane revealed on Instagram that she still has several months to fully recover from the surgery. Meanwhile, Nadia Nakai has remained silent about her grief since police revealed the suspect in AKA's murder last month.
Five of the seven suspects involved in the slain rapper's murder are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, March 14, for bail applications. eNCA report.
