Check out the best selection of Sony World Photography Awards 2024. This year's open competition was judged by Daniel Blochowitz, curator of the Photo His Festival in Lenzburg, Switzerland.
The World Photography Organization has announced the category winners and shortlist of the esteemed photography category open competition. Sony World Photography Award 2024showcasing the best single images from around the world.
Among them, Slovenia's Ana Skobe captured the elegance of a lighthouse against a sunset sky in “Falling Out of Time,'' and Britain's Ian Ford captured the emotional moment when a jaguar attacks a caiman crocodile. They performed the “Caiman Crunch”.
A staggering 395,000 images from over 220 countries and territories were submitted for consideration in the contest.

The final winner of the prestigious open competition will be announced at a grand awards ceremony in London on April 18th.
Shortlist favorites
The winning and shortlisted images will be exhibited as part of the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition. Somerset House, London from 19 April to 6 May 2024 And travel to different places.
