MT plans to sue SA restaurant Mike's Kitchen for publicly humiliating him.
On Monday, the South African star took to his Twitter account to rant about how he and his team were kicked out of a restaurant for having tattoos on his body and smelling like us.
But he claims people tried to silence him, and the Twitter rant wasn't enough.
“It's not a lie what they did to me yesterday at @mikeskitchensa @mikeskitchenparktown @mikeskitchenheritage, it's really me gang. On Phonem. I don't know what else to do. Phonem is 'bad for the brand' so I don't lie. I want you to shut up, I'm like shit! Black people cannot express themselves as South African citizens,” he wrote on Instagram.
“When I was younger, I would just go there with a very nice woman. Ms. Agnes Nugent, my high school principal, may God rest her soul. Now I'm putting 2 and 2 together, I'm like shit! This is worse than the avocado story. I'm mixed race and have a rapper father who was despised, ridiculed, and made fun of his entire career. I worry about the children I have. He beats everyone in every way. One of the most awarded artists in the history of South African music. This man who is just a farmer to me @mannytarget will take over my life forever. I changed.”
“My heart is broken. Thankfully there was no security that day so all I saw were black kids with @mannytarget tattoos. I don't even know who I am. Everyone I can't talk to anyone about this because they want me to shut up. I'm sorry. I can't. I'm not going to rest until something is done about this issue.”
M.T. demands an apology from the restaurant or he will take it to court for racial discrimination.
