Will Dittluhokwe return for Kaizer Chiefs?
according to Soccer-LadumaTatayaone Ditlhokwe is ready to return to action for Amakhosi after a long-term shoulder problem.
“He's ready to go. You know he had shoulder surgery, but now he's fully recovered and ready to come back, but it all depends on (Chiefs') coach You know it depends on what he thinks in training. But looking at the situation, I think he'll be back soon. Maybe this weekend or next weekend, but he's… He has been training with the rest of the team and seems to be doing well,” one of the sources said.
Who are the captain candidates?
Botswana star Ditlhokwe is used to thriving under pressure, having captained his country by the age of 24. He is having his best years yet and can also deputize at left-back. There's a reason Amakhos fans are excited about their new defensive core, which is relatively young and has a rare combination of leadership, presence and experience. He has made a total of 94 of his DStv Prem appearances, including over 20 appearances in each of his last three full campaigns. This season saw his record rarely broken in that regard after he dislocated his shoulder while playing for Botswana. However, if he plays in all eight of the final eight league games, he will reach the 20-game mark again. Availability is a very underrated trait that all top players have. Just ask Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo how many games they missed due to injury. There aren't many.
Do you think Ditlhokwe's impending return will help stabilize the game against Chiefs, or is the horse already set? Let us know your thoughts on Amakhosi's underwhelming season in the comments section below.
