BBM Zanshi Star McJr. caused a stir when he posted a video on TikTok in which he shared his bank account details for donations.
Reality TV star crowned BBM Zanshi A few days ago, I was crowned the winner of season 4 and walked away with R2 million in prize money.
Additionally, McJunior won R27,000 during his stay in the Big Brother house.
“For the benefit of the McForth family's donation, we don't want to cause problems where money ends up going where it shouldn't.
“So I just make sure you have the correct account to donate to,” McJr. said in a video posted Thursday, April 4.
The video has since gone viral on social media, with people accusing McJunior of being greedy.
One comment read: “He's so greedy that instead of giving away some of the money he wins, he's doing the opposite. Like he always said at home, he goes home and talks to his girlfriend. Please be with me…I would rather donate for Makehe,” it read.
Another said, “Haha, first time I see a billionaire asking for donations.”

many BBM Zanshi Fans said they would rather donate to BBMzansi Season 4 runner-up Makehe, who missed out on the R2-million prize by a 0.07% vote difference.
A few days ago, Makehe's team released a statement announcing that they had opened a GoFundMe account on his behalf.
They said the donated funds would be used for his future projects and aspirations.
“We have been looking for ways to continue to support Makehe and his efforts…Your contribution, however big or small, will help Makehe pursue his dreams and continue to bring joy and inspiration to all of us. It makes a huge difference up there.”
