Photos of the 2024 Rolls-Royce Specter have been making the rounds on social media, and they're sure to have petrolheads drooling.
The photo has garnered thousands of comments and reactions since it was published on the internet.
Rolls Royce Specter spotted in Johannesburg
Zero2turbo posted a photo on Instagram and tagged Ryan Naidoo in the caption. He posted: “A poignant reminder of South Africa's socio-economic divide. R18 million Twilight by @ryan__naidoo His purple Rolls Royce His Specter crackles silently as it drifts around his arches on Melrose in Johannesburg It made a noise.”
Photos of this car have been making the rounds on social media, with many trying to connect the dots about its owner. But Mr Mzansi was convinced this was the same Rolls-Royce that hit the headlines in 2023.
But will this be the first Specter to be airlifted to South Africa in 2023? Daytona, a prestigious import car company, posted on Instagram, “Delivery of Africa's first Specter! Congratulations to our wonderful customers. We couldn't have thought of a better brand ambassador for our first car. I hope you have many happy miles.”
Just a few weeks after a Rolls-Royce Specter demo car was spotted in South Africa, the car has rocketed to the top of trends. Surprisingly, the colors of the vehicles are the same. is this the same car?
Well, car enthusiasts were pretty sure that the two were different cars. The demo car had a fixed foreign license plate. But few A-listers had ever sampled South Africa's first electric Rolls-Royce car.
One of the guests invited for a test drive was Wicknell Chibayo. But Chibayo is also perhaps one of the few Rolls-Royce Specter owners in Africa. He also owns an impressive fleet of Rolls-Royce vehicles, including his Ghost model and the Wraith model.
Prototype testing
In 2023, Rolls-Royce conducted performance tests of the 2024 Specter model in Cape Town. The prototype underwent hot weather tests in his two regions of South Africa: Augrabies in the Northern Cape and Franschhoek in the Western Cape.
However, this appears to be the third Rolls-Royce Specter seen in SA. For photos, many people are trying to connect the dots about price. However, at some dealers around South Africa, the car's base price is his R10 million.
