Aston Villa's England forward Rachel Daley has announced her retirement from international football.
The 32-year-old, who has 84 caps, was part of the England squad that won Euro 2022.
She came on as a late substitute in Tuesday's 2-0 Euro 2025 qualifying win. Defeat the Republic of Ireland.
“I don't have any desire to play for England forever, but now it's time to prove myself on the international stage,” Daly said.
“This is a very difficult day for me, but also a day full of reflection and immense gratitude. It was an honor to play for England.”
Daly made his England debut against Serbia in 2016, scoring the first of his 16 goals.
He started every game at Euro 2022, where he won his first major trophy.
England manager Sarina Wiegman said: “I have never worked with a player who is so versatile, always smiling, always giving energy and always trying to do his best for the team.''
“Rachel is an incredible part of our story and the history we have created together. It was a pleasure working with her.”
Daly, who has played as a full-back and striker for England, started in last summer's World Cup final, which Spain won 1-0.
“It's a great honor to represent my family, my teammates and my entire country,” she said.
“I have many great memories from my time in England, which were pivotal moments.
“Winning the Euros and reaching the World Cup final changed a lot for me, not only as a footballer but as a person.
“I’ve been so fortunate to have shared it with so many wonderful people throughout my journey.”
FA Women's Technical Director Kay Cossington said: “Rachel's contribution to the Lionesses is truly difficult to put into words.
“She is a phenomenal person who has been a huge asset to the England team both on and off the pitch.”

Daly has enjoyed great success in England despite never actually playing a starring role.
Her versatility, having used most of her international career as a defender despite playing as a striker in club football, is an invaluable asset to England, but also probably holds her back personally. There are also things that I do.
Daley was last season's PFA Players' Player of the Year and Women's Super League Golden Boot winner, but she has clearly fallen down the England pecking order behind Alessia Russo and Lauren Hemp in ninth place.
Her growing desire to play as a striker, as opposed to the full-back role she had previously filled in, perhaps led to her surprising international retirement.
In this month's Euro 2025 qualifiers, Daly came on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw against Sweden and came on as a substitute in the 86th minute against Ireland.
She spoke to Wiegman during camp to gauge his future plans and is thought to have informed her England team-mates of her decision to retire after Tuesday's win.
However, despite his reduced playing time of late, Daly has consistently proven himself to be a key player for England in major tournaments.
She will be missed, but England have plenty of talent in their current squad, allowing Daly to focus on club football and she remains an important player for Villa.
