At a press conference Friday in Palm Beach, Florida, former President Donald Trump suggested that Israel's war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip could escalate into a global war.
President Trump said, “What is happening in Israel could lead to world war.''
President Trump went on to criticize President Joe Biden, saying, “I don't know what the hell he's doing.”
At the beginning of the press conference, President Trump called the United States a “nation in decline” and initially commented on the country's “record inflation.”
President Trump says Russia-Ukraine war could end in world war
He said that while inflation was not the worst thing, a war between Russia and Ukraine could escalate into a world war, which should never have happened in the first place. He added that if he had been president, war between the two countries would never have occurred.
President Trump said of Biden: “We have a president who can't string two sentences together. We have a president who can't find the stairs to get off the stage. We have a president who doesn't know what the hell he's doing.” And we could end up in a world war,” he said again.
“November 5th is just under seven months away, but if people are incompetent, it's forever,” he concluded.
In mid-March, Trump called Biden an idiot multiple times during a speech in Dayton, Ohio, and even called him “the stupid son of …” before backing away.
In his speech, he said that if he is not elected in November, “it will be a bloody disaster for the whole country.”
