Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson believes there will be another “chapter” under Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Coach Parkinson's team has been promoted for the second year in a row and will be playing in League 1 next season.
Twelve months ago, Wrexham won the National League and secured a return to the EFL after a 15-year absence.
“When I was promoted last year, I felt like I still had a lot of chapters to write,” Parkinson said.
“I strongly believe that it is not yet.” [the case] now. “
The North Wales club secured automatic promotion after a 6-0 victory over League Two bottom-placed Forest Green Rovers at Stoke Racecourse and defeats against MK Dons and Barrow.
Deadpool star Reynolds and Philadelphia's McElhenny's It's Always Sunny weren't at the racetrack Saturday, but Parkinson said he spoke by phone with one of the co-chairmen.
“Rob called me and I don't think he expected me to answer, but I had a great conversation with him,” Parkinson said.
“Obviously he and Ryan would have loved to be here today.
“They obviously deserve a lot of credit for the support they've given me and all the staff, and the support they've given all the players as well.
“They deserve this and I'm sure they'll celebrate wherever they are in the United States.
“Owning a football club is tough, it's not an easy job so you have to enjoy these promotions.
“We are building the substructure and I think that is very important for the academy.
“I think it’s very important for the future of the club and the owners obviously realize that and for that we had to get back into the league.
“We have some great people employed in our academy and they will work hard to attract talented young players, as this is key for the club to progress.”
Wrexham's win over Forest Green and losses to rivals MK Dons and Barrow ensured a top three finish and automatic promotion.
However Parkinson claimed he had not recorded results elsewhere in the afternoon and was focused on winning against Forest Green.
“We went into the game today not expecting it to go our way and I think that's the best approach,” Parkinson added.
“With less than two minutes left, I said to my analyst son, ‘George, give me the rundown.’ And of course I knew the deal was done.
“Last year we knew [we had to] A win lifts us up, but today was a win and we were relying on other things around us.
“This is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved at the club.
“There's a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes, but I always talk about a team effort.”
“It’s definitely Wrexham and everyone has to come together and include the supporters because they were once again really great for us, both home and away.
“There were times when we didn't play as well as we wanted, but that happens even in promotion seasons.
“But they stayed with us, kept their faith, and have been rewarded for it.”
Parkinson has now been promoted as a manager five times, twice with Wrexham and once each with Colchester United, Bradford City and Bolton Wanderers.
Mr Parkinson, who took up his post at the racecourse in July 2021, added: “This is a first for me personally and a first in Wrexham's history to have consecutive promotions.”
“Other teams have come on, but Stockport didn’t do that last year and finished in the play-offs.
“Obviously, it’s right around the corner and I’m obviously very proud of all the players who have represented us this season.
“We can now start planning for the summer and build a competitive team.”
