Entertainment critic Phil Mphela report Rapper AKA's parents Tony and Lynn Forbes are distancing themselves from Melinda Ferguson's book.
“We have no connection with Melinda Ferguson's book. We do not endorse it. At the same time we distance ourselves from the content of the book.”
“When Melinda contacted us, we respectfully and understandably declined her contribution to the book. I cannot comment further.”
“However, we feel that the schedule and timing of this book's publication is offensive and opportunistic,” Tony and Lynn Forbes said in a statement.

Melinda Ferguson acknowledges her book
