Zahra's family will not be able to hold the concert after all efforts to secure a venue have failed.
The concert was due to take place in East London in late April with a line-up including Zahara's close friend Vusi Nova, Ngati Mankaj, Mawetu Dikiza, Lusanda Mbane and Haneesa Nkantu.
Zahara's sister Bandezwa Muktukana-Febana told TshishaLIVE that they were unable to secure a venue.
“That won't happen now. You can't go to the community center and there's a lot of hardship. Zahra fought for her home during her life and continued to protect it throughout her career. And for us, it's We wanted to keep it because it's like a home and holds so many memories with her. It's part of her legacy and we don't want to lose it.”
Mr Bandeswa said Zahra's brother was occupying the house and needed “nearly R1 million” to buy it.
The family is hoping to find other ways to raise money to secure a home.
“We didn't intend to eat that money, but we intended to protect Zahara's legacy by taking it and buying back the house. But we didn't intend to take that money and protect Zahara's legacy by buying back the house. But we didn't intend to take it and protect Zahara's legacy by buying the house back. I wanted to do something sooner so we could “Save the Home.'' we won't stop. ”
