Pirates, on the other hand, have scored an astonishing 11 goals in their last two games and are in great form and are growing in confidence. They currently sit third in the standings and will be keen to add another three points. If they win against Ustu, they could swap places with second-placed Stellenbosch.
This Saturday, Pirates and Amazulu will face off at Orlando Stadium.
Defensive duo Nkosinati Sibisi and Thapelo Shoki were both suspended for the previous match but are back in contention for a spot in the matchday squad. Pirates also benefit from the return of striker Evidence Makgopa after more than a month out of action.
For AmaZulu, midfielder Ethan Brooks has resurfaced as an option for manager Pablo Franco Martin against Pirates. He comes after serving a one-match suspension that forced them out of the Cup quarter-finals.
