Former school principal Jacobeth Tobakugare discovered that Ntate Kganyago had stolen R500,000 from her bank account after ghosting her.
Kganyago persuaded Jacobes to invest R500,000 in a scam and proposed marriage. He also persuaded her to turn her back on her daughter Elizabeth “Lizzie” Seacamera-Maputla (Amanda Munck).
Realizing he has been scammed, Jacobes apologizes to his daughter, who was kidnapped and drugged by her lover's accomplice, Luc (Jean-Michel Tuzi Mukengeshai).
In the film, Ntate Kganyago is still on the run and Jacobes is still paying for the money he stole about two years ago.
