The family confirmed the actor's death in an official statement.
“The family of South African entertainer Mpho Sebeng is saddened to announce to the public and media that their son has indeed passed away. A tragic car accident in Stroom caused an untimely death. The family would like to thank you for the outpouring of love and condolences and ask for space to process this news.”
“Details of his homecoming celebration will be announced in due course and we ask that you continue to keep the Sebben family in your prayers.” Please take care of yourself and each other. ”
