Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has called on residents of Kasteel in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga to vote for his party in numbers.
The EFF launched a campaign in rural Bushbuckridge, a stronghold of the African National Congress (ANC).

Mr Malema said the Bushbuckridge community was still suffering without the provision of clean water and proper roads.
He assured the people that the EFF government would build adequate housing. He said voters in Bushbuckridge had an opportunity to remove the ANC-led government.
“And we're going to build you not just a house, but a proper house. There's not a single white person who doesn't have a flush toilet, and they would never do that to a white person. Why would we? We will show them who we are on May 29th. Because there's no way you can go to a polling place that doesn't have a flush toilet and vote for the same people who kept you from having a flush toilet for 30 years. ”
