South African luxury fashion designer Thebe Magugu recently unveiled her first brick-and-mortar retail store, choosing an unconventional approach and transforming her two-story home into a multi-faceted fashion haven.
This unique space serves as a gallery displaying some of their most treasured works, as well as a showroom dedicated to their exquisite luxury clothing collections and more.
Located at 52 Bompas Road, Dunkeld, Johannesburg, the store is an eye-catching landmark with 'Thebe Magugu' written in bold white letters, easily identified by two striking blackboards on either side of the gate.
From Past to Present: A Virtual Reality Exhibition Connecting Youth with District 6

This year, the District Six Museum is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and a virtual reality (VR) exhibition entitled 'The District Six Experience: Walk Through Time' will be held as part of the commemoration.
The project is a collaboration between the Museum, the Loud Rabbits Agency, and alumni of the Digital Arts Academy Gaming Course, and aims to immerse users in District 6's rich history.
Engaging young audiences and ensuring District 6's heritage is preserved for future generations is at the heart of the project, which uses advanced gaming technology to bring the sights and sounds of the past to life.
