Chairman of the Electoral Commission (IEC), Mosotho Moyepiya, said objections raised at polling stations on election day were addressed by Electoral Commission officials.
Briefing the media on Thursday, the IEC said it was currently processing the objections which could not be resolved by the chairpersons and were escalated to the committee.

The IEC says it will not move to defend criticism levelled at the organisation, the day after South Africans voted on 29 May.
“We must never be defensive. We listen, observe and address the issues that are being raised in the best interest of our work,” Moepiya said.
