South African rapper J Molly (real name Jesse Mollett) announced his own death on social media after a years-long battle with depression.
The star returned to social media a few months ago after a lengthy hiatus, opening up about his addictions and issues, but revealed he's had a change of heart.
On Thursday night, J. Morey posted a suicidal note and other messages on Twitter.
“I will die within 30 minutes. It's over. No one knows where I am and no one can save me. But no one cares. Bye everyone,” he wrote.
The tweet sparked a huge reaction on social media, with Twitter users divided on whether to accept it or not, with some expressing concern and others not being too bothered.
But that didn't stop him from talking about his last day on earth.
“I was wrong in thinking today would be a good day. I didn't realize it would be the last day.”

“It's over. The process of dying has begun. There's no turning back. I'm sorry,” he wrote in an Instagram Live chat after overdosing on drugs and alcohol.

Check out all the jokes. Why do you think I'm dying? It's easy to see. As a Mensa certified IQ 156, I have to live among IQ 80's.

He concluded his message by asking God for forgiveness.
“God, please forgive me!”
