Metro FM Unplanned Touchdown Co-host Lusand “Lutlove” Shosha was arrested for allegedly attending an ANC rally.
Moni Seapolhelo, SABC Acting Group Executive for Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Citizen on monday.
However, she said the SABC could not release details of Lootlove's suspension.
“The SABC can confirm that Metro FM on-air presenter Lusand “Lutlove” Shosha will be returning on-air today after being removed from the show,” Seapolero said.
She added: “The SABC cannot go into the details of matters concerning individuals other than to say that holding political rallies or publicly associating with political parties is against the SABC's editorial policy as it is a public document.”
Meanwhile, the radio station denied reports that Ramiez Holworthy had also been suspended for attending an ANC rally.
“In regards to Ramiez Holworthy, he has not been suspended or placed on a non-play schedule for any reason,” Cipolelo said.
