Producer of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip – South AfricaGOAT Productions has denied the allegations of mistreatment of its cast members.
This comes after the show's star, Melanie “Mel” Viljoen, claimed she was mistreated during filming.
Mel claimed that the production team deliberately booked other Housewives before filming began, and conspired and formed an alliance against her.
“We signed an agreement prior to production that forbade us from having any contact or interaction with the other Housewives.
“But the production company booked the three housewives together in a five-star hotel for five nights before the shooting began so that they would automatically form an alliance against me,” she said. Citizen.

Mel added that she had booked into an all-inclusive three-star timeshare resort for pensioners, 30km away from the other women.
“When I moved to the Magic Villa, I realized I was meant to be the sacrificial lamb to be slaughtered by the Alliance and had to adapt quickly.”
Producer responds to Mel's claims
Responding to the allegations, the production company said all cast members had received equal treatment.
Gemma Ford of GOAT Productions said: Citizen“All performers were provided with equal accommodation. We used a travel agency to make hotel arrangements.”
Speaking of accommodation arrangements, Gemma explained: “Depending on flight arrival times, shuttles and hotel availability, all the ladies were split up and stayed in different hotels.”
When asked if Mel had raised any concerns or complaints with the production team, Gemma replied: “The production company only received one request from a cast member to move to a room facing the sea and they accommodated. If there had been any requests from any other cast members we would have worked with them.”
