Maglella Dough Boy has become one of the most popular artists in the country since the release of his album “Diaspora” and he will be performing at the 14th annual Boomtown.
Popular rapper Maglara Doo Boy will be making his Durban July debut this year and is one of the artists expected to perform at Boomtown.
“The team has handpicked some of the hottest artists in the country today, as well as long-time Boomtown favourites, to keep guests entertained throughout the day,” event organiser Stuart Scott said in a statement.
The 30-year-old rapper from Kanana in the northwestern US has released a 12-track album, DiasporaSince then, he has become one of the most sought-after artists.
He has been featured on recent albums by fellow rappers Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest and Priddy Ugly, and KO featured him on a single. Let me cook.
The rapper, whose real name is Tokelo Moyake, shared a series of photos of himself dressed in Puma gear a few months ago.
One of the photos was a screenshot of rapper A$AP Rocky inviting him to the US to take part in a campaign for the brand.
